I am your size, and ski on 90" Goodman's.  You would be good on 86-90" skis, but longer would be more to advance into.

Same question:   170 lbs:  5'8"   but 48ft jumper (plop with attitude)   getting ready to head to college and expecting to advance quickly into near 100 within a couple of years.

Currently have older 70" skis.

D3 Teams only go to 80".    I was thinking 84-86" teams would be about right.  Oh well...

Recommendations?

how long are you going to jump, meaning in it for awhile, after college?  are you doing it for overall or going to work on jump?

if you can find I'd get the

86-90" LD jumpers used, if you're a show skier use 70" or so till you get 70'

the length now won't hurt you if your ride overs are solid

As long as they make. And cut later. Don't worry about learning to actually jump, just cut later and POP off the ramp
