What speed are you going?  What settings are you using?  Which boat?  What are the boat times for a typical set?

You really need your times to make a determination.  If you jump Nautique, do you have the gate in the slalom or jump mode?  If slalom mode and 5.7 you will probably need the Power Factor at 6 or 7 or highr.   Should be able to run a PF 4 no problem in slalom mode behind a 6.2.  You should tune your letter to get a 5.19 in the 82 Meter segment, should not need any adder unless a 5.7.  Get your driver to tune your letter to attain a 5.19 and then tell you where he ended up after the set.  If you are consistent jump to jump this will work, if every one of your jumps are a new and exciting experience, it may take a little longer[smile]

Confuzzed:

"Dave

all on letter N PF of 7 on a nautique 5.7L in Jump mode. "

I would take your letter down to an L and the power factor to a 6.  Tweak as necessary to get to a 5.19.

I agree with Dave. If the boat is fast going in...... It never has to work to get good times. If it does not work, you won't get throttle into the ramp. (Where you want it) 5.13/5.16 is faster than the target of 5.19.

I pay attention to what the boat is doing in relation to  52 meter time and the 82 meter time. I feel if your driver is just trying to make an 82 meter time he/she can be hurting the jumper.  The boat could actually be slowing down to make the 82 meter time. Witch would relate to not a lot at the base.

My 2 Cents
