I think it is crappy when ski customers take to the internet forums bitchin about a warranty issue without first contacting the ski company or their ski shop.  I have not seen much of it on skifly but common on another forum. 

HO & Radar have provided me top service with just a phone call.  I'll add that I think these two ski companies (and probably others I have not interfaced with) provide a higher level of customer service than most other companies in sporting goods or other industries.

Anyway...just a thanks to those companies.

I think the companies who rep on those boards do it to themselves with precedent that's been set publically and there will always be people trying to take advantage of something for free

true - I don't think it's good, not fun forum either.
