Reply with quote | #1 | Has anybody tricked FAST behind the new 200 ? From the video, it looks very good for Rhoni Barton at her speed. But at 21.8 I wonder if it will run too high out of the water and leave almost no wake. |

Take as many weights as possible. Bring a second ski made of lead - and put one of your ARC boots on it.
Sorry to be flippant, but the 200 I boat judged tricks for was enjoyed by all who skied behind it. It is a significant improvement over the old boat according to those who skied it - and from the visual look I saw.
Plus I slalomed really well behind it.

Reply with quote | #3 | I'm glad that it appears to be an improvement over the '02 - '09 Some tournaments there is only one boat and if it had been a SN it was basically a waste of time to put the ski on.
Maybe I need to find 2 jobs, not just one.
More bad news here. Didn't get the job in Jacksonville and didn't even get an interview for the job nearby that description equaled my resume word for word. I may not be able to afford to ski at all in 2010. |

Reply with quote | #4 | Maybe train behind more boats so it'll be worth putting that ski on. My wake's great, for me.
Sorry bout the job thing. |

Reply with quote | #6 | SN Owner , I would 100% agree skiing the 196 was a total waste of time and I can't help wondering how many ending career edge catches the bubbly SN196 caused ... I was one of them ... add Zero Off to the mix and you get the worse possible combination ...
The last time I skied a tournament behind a 196 was a relief to know that in 2010 I would never have to deal with the 196 ...

Reply with quote | #9 | rough table = increased chances of catching an edge ... at any level ... the faster you execute your tricks the more dangerous it gets ...
would you consider not being able to do toes ever again the end of a career for a good tricker ?!?

Reply with quote | #10 | Man, I'm awfully sorry to hear about your injury. But it seems like you might be putting too much blame on the wake. There are a lot of trickers that like the wake and would disagree with you. Novice up to world class. If you believed it to be such a danger, why would you risk it? |

Reply with quote | #11 | if you're done with toe's what the big relief that you're done with the 196? those slow bubbly falls getting to you?
checho-purdue's phenomenal tricker took the 196 everytime and stomped the competition |

Reply with quote | #12 | I have always chosen to not do toes. However, I did toes behind late 90's boats, including a 205, so I think you're being a little picky |

The table on the '02-'09 196 sucked for surface toes. The wake ain't the issue althought it wasn't great either. |
