| initial reports mention that the French National Training Center has been closed and is now in serious trouble , the French Police is prohibiting access to the lake.
the Monaco Federation which has wanted to get their hands onto this first class waterski site for a long time have now the opportunity to make their kill move ...
the only person who could now save the day is the greatest skier of all times and current president of the French Federation. |

| ACTUALLY what happened was that patrice was causing problems.. fighting as always (somebody should ask jaret just how popular patrice was with other waterskiers).. so he managed to use his nonexistent political skills to get in a fight with the mayor of the city (always a good idea). the only involvement of monaco's federation is that patrice is jealous that the monaco federation's lake is nicer than the french federation's lake and they're in the same area... the monaco federation has zero interest in getting the crappy french lake since they already have a better one! |

Watching Patrice and his Dad fight (literally) with the other French skiers was almost as entertaining as watching Patrice ski. Then you add in the time Americ Bennett (sorry if 1st name spelled wrong) slammed his trick ski against a tree until it shattered and lasting memories were created.
Say what you want about the French skiers and Patrice imparticular but I will always admire their passion for the sport. No skier was any more competitive then Patrice. Hopefully the French's lake situation will be settled in an equitable fashion so skiing can continue to thrive and new skier's passion developed.

WM that wasn't a tree but actually the jury tower at the 91 worlds in Austria and the person responsible was Aymeric's older brother and coach Arnaud who was also responsible for getting Aymeric dqed at the 93 worlds for swearing at the driver Silvia Phillips.
But watching Aymeric and his dad or brothers swear at or punch each other was fun , and also watching bang his head to his ski until he put a dent in it !!!
The Martin's fights were lame compare to this ... But no one was a bigger a-hole than Patrice at tournaments ... |

| with everything i heard about patrice, i should say that he is the worst ass-ole of the world... but guys you should just understand, that being an assole was probably to escape from pressure. and he is the most decorated waterskier of history... so for me, he is not an assole. |

| You want a answer ? here it is. Patrice Martin is maybe an asshole, but he is the one who is trying to push waterskiing as a big sport in Europe. Using his image, yes of course, but anyway it works. This year, waterskiing was on our national tv show every week. at least almost. He is our president, so we have to respect him. And i'm not trying to defend him, but you should all respect him as a super skier, who won i don't know how many tournaments. He is not the one who created the problem with the director of the lake. He is the one who tried to make everything out. So maybe, you don't like him, thing that i can understand, but instead of saying bullsh*t about this story of national ski center, ask people who really know what happened. And sorry "not french", but we're one of the coolest team ever.. look at these girls Clementine , Marion and Anais. Beautiful, friendly and awesome :-)

French , you seem to really know what happened so can you tell us exactly what then ? and most of all when will Roquebrune be available to skiers again ... As for Patrice , it is one thing that he was one of the best skiers of all time , it is another to run a Federation , this person has always been driven by personal ambition and gain , his ultimate goal is to join the Olympic Committee and he will then drop the federation the instant this happens ...
One more thing, as president of the federation he is also responsible for the national training center , if it's not running it is HIS fault and no one else's ... period.
When someone has been hatred by so many people for so long you can feel a pattern ...
